How to Track Game Time (Minutes Played)

Minutes Key Visual

To track game time, you'll first need to schedule a match. If you haven't already, follow our scheduling matches and training practices tutorial to get started.

Track Game time

Option 1: Live during the match

Track playing time in real-time as substitutions happen during your match.

Step 1: Add a starting line-up - Create your starting lineup with all players who begin the match on the field - Assign each player their position in your formation - Confirm your lineup is set before the match starts

Step 2: Substitute players - Open the Match Control during the match - When making a substitution, drag the incoming player from the bench onto the field - The system automatically records the time of substitution - The replaced player moves to the bench - Continue substituting as needed throughout the match

Option 2: Add minutes played after the match

If you didn't track substitutions live, you can manually add playing minutes after the match concludes.

In Homebase, navigate to your match details and access the players section. For each player, enter the number of minutes they played. You can adjust individual player minutes, and the system will recalculate statistics automatically.
