Your privacy is very important to Mingle Sport B.V. We therefore comply with the relevant privacy laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter: GDPR). This means that we:
- Store as little personal data as possible and only the data that is necessary for our purposes;
- Request explicit permission for the processing of your personal data, if permission is required;
- Take necessary security measures to protect your personal data. We also impose these obligations on parties that process personal data for us;
- Respect your rights, such as the right to inspect, correct or delete your personal data processed by us.

Information Mingle collects
Mingle collects information about you when you choose to share it with Mingle. We also collect information about how you use our Services and the information you share with us, such as:
Your account, profile, activity
Certain parts of our service require you to register with us first. This consists of providing information about yourself and choosing a name. We use this to create an account for you, which you can use to log in to our service with your chosen username and a password of your choice. For this we use your:
- E-mail address
- Date of birth
- Profile picture
We have a legitimate interest in this. We keep this information until you cancel your account. We keep this information to avoid you having to enter this information repeatedly, and so we can approach you more easily if necessary. You can change your information via your account at any time.
We also collect user data and activities.
The content you share
We collect information from photos, videos, posts, cheers, comments that you share. Other users can see your name, surname, photo, team.
The Services use log files. The information stored in those files includes IP addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks. This information is used to analyze trends, administer, protect and secure the Services, track users' movements in general, and gather broad demographic information for collective use.
Use of the information
To provide the services
We use the information to provide the services. As a result, you can:
- View your own stats tracked in the app by you or others
- See your own videos/images and those of your followers
- Interact with other players, fans, trainers, team support
To optimize your experience
We use the information we collect about you, your followers and your activities to customize your experience. For example, we may make suggestions about players you may want to follow. If we see that you are part of a team, but are not yet using our schema functionality, we can suggest to use this functionality.
To protect you and the Services
To improve our Services
We use the information to analyze and improve our Services. To do this, external analysis providers may be used.
We use the information we collect to provide support. We may also use this information to send emails and notifications about using the app (if you have not opted out).
In addition, we have a newsletter and you will only be added to the list of subscribers with your permission. In the newsletter you can read news, tips and information about our products and services. For this we use your: E-mail address
We have a legitimate interest in this. We keep this information until you cancel the subscription. The newsletter is sent by email several times a year. The content of the newsletter includes the following: New features for the app. You can cancel the subscription to the newsletter at any time. Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link.
Sometimes it is necessary for our company Mingle Sport App to find out where you are. We then ask separately whether we may know this and only if you give permission, we will receive this information.
For this service we use the navigation and location software on your phone, tablet or computer. We have no control over what the creators of this software (such as Google or Apple) do with it. So always read their privacy statements.
We share personal information in accordance with your preferences, we use it to provide our Services and where necessary for legal purposes.
We may share your information with third parties who provide services to Mingle Sport B.V., such as supporting, improving, promoting and securing the Services.
Publicly available information
When you register, the following information is visible:
- In search results: name, surname, photo, club and team
- Match reports: name, surname, photo, club and team
- In comments: name, surname, and photo
We keep statistics about the use of our company, but this data is always anonymized.
Provision to other companies or institutions
With the exception of the parties that are necessary to provide the above-mentioned services, we will under no circumstances give your personal data to other companies or institutions, unless we are legally obliged to do so (for example if the police require this in the event of a suspicion of a crime).
Sharing information and activities
Because we are a social network, we share your information with other Mingle Sport members in your team network.
We may retain and share your information with third parties including law enforcement agencies or, for example, public government agencies when we determine that disclosure is permitted by law or necessary to comply with the law.
Security of personal data is of great importance to us. We ensure that your data is properly secured with us. We always adjust security and pay close attention to what can go wrong.
Manage your settings
Update account information
You can update your profile at any time by changing the information within your own profile. If you need help changing information, please contact [email protected].
Deleting information and account
If you would like to have your account deleted, please contact [email protected]. After you have submitted a request, we will delete your data permanently and irreversibly. Once deleted, your account, activities and statistics cannot be recovered.
