Leaderboards and Awards

Key Visual leaderboards-2

Take control of your team's stats and recognition. Coaches can customize who votes, when voting happens, and which leaderboards your team sees.

Voting after each match appears on your Home screen, everyone can vote for teammates (you can't vote for yourself). The player with the most votes wins each award. In Match Ratings, each member rates the match from 1 to 5 stars. Track your team's performance beyond just wins and losses.

What you can do with awards and leaderboards

Customizable Awards
Coaches can now personalize award categories to fit your team's culture. Change "MVP" to "Star Player," or customize categories like "Workhorse" or "Playmaker" to highlight different strengths.
Season-Long Tracking
Players can track their awards and achievements throughout the entire season, making it easy to see progress and celebrate consistent excellence.
Flexible Privacy Controls
Coaches have full control over voting settings and can turn off voting anytime to respect player preferences.
Customizable Leaderboards
Choose which leaderboards are visible to your team. Display stats that matter most, whether its goals scored, awards won, matches played, or other metrics.

How to vote for match awards

After each match, open the Mingle Sport app and go to Home. Tap Vote Now at the top of your screen (available after matches when enabled), rate the match (optional), select players for each award, then tap Submit. The player with the most votes wins each award, and monthly Team Awards go to players with the most wins overall.

How to view stats, leaderboards and awards

Open the Stats tab in the bottom navigation. Everything about your team's performance now lives on one page, in three sections:

  • Team Awards — last month's winners. Tap View all to browse other months and share a result.

  • Leaderboards — the top player for each stat. Tap All leaderboards to expand, then tap a type to open its full ranking.

  • Match Stats — your team's unbeaten streak, clean sheets, team form (last 5 results) and match win ratio.

Available leaderboards include Goals, Assists, Minutes Played and Attendance. Which ones you see depends on your coach's settings — hidden ones won't appear.

On a leaderboard's detail page you can filter by time period, match type and team. Filtering by match type or a custom date range requires Team Boost Level 1.

Frequently asked questions

What requires Team Boost Level 1?
Basic voting on/off and "hide all leaderboards" work for free. Premium unlocks role-based voting (choose who can vote), custom voting windows, match rating controls, and individual leaderboard toggles.

Can I hide leaderboards but still keep voting?
Yes! Voting and leaderboards are completely separate. Hide all stats while keeping awards active or disable voting while showing leaderboards—your choice.

What happens to data when I hide a leaderboard?
Nothing is deleted. All stats are preserved and will reappear if you re-enable the leaderboard later—even months or years later.

Can players see hidden leaderboards?
No. Hidden leaderboards are invisible to all team members. Only admins can view them in Homebase.

Can I customize award names?
Yes! Tap the pencil icon next to MVP, Playmaker or Workhorse to set a custom title (up to 10 characters) and description (up to 30 characters). Change "MVP" to "Star Player" to fit your team's culture.

When does voting open after a match?
Voting opens 110 minutes after the scheduled match time. By default, it closes 24 hours later or when everyone has voted.

Can players vote for themselves?
No. Players can only vote for teammates.

Can I turn off voting temporarily?
Yes. Toggle voting off anytime—previous awards stay intact. Re-enable whenever you're ready. Perfect for off-season or playoffs.
