How do I track match and training attendance?
How do I track match and training attendance in Mingle Sport?
Attendance tracking in Mingle Sport starts with RSVPs. Team members respond Going or Not Going to each match or training, Mingle Sport sends reminders automatically to those who haven't, and coaches can edit the list afterwards if anything needs correcting.
This article walks through the full flow:
For more detail on specific bits, see Auto RSVP, custom invites, reminder timing, and updating past RSVPs.
How do I RSVP as a team member?
Once someone's scheduled a match or a training, it shows up on your Schedule page — and upcoming matches appear on the Activity Feed too.
Go to the Schedule page.
Tap Going or Not Going on the match or training card.
On Going, pick your transport: Driving, Self transport, or Drive along (need a ride).
On Not Going, pick a reason: Sick, Injured, Vacation, School/work, or Other.
Change your RSVP any time by tapping the button again — you can update the reason or transport too.

How do I see who's attending a match or training?
In the Mingle Sport app
Go to Schedule.
Open the match or training you want to check.
Scroll to the RSVP section.
You'll see Going, Not Going, and No response for Players and for Staff and support (one combined section that includes coaches, team managers, parents, and other followers).
On Homebase (web)
Team Admins can also see attendance for the whole team in Homebase.
Sign in to homebase.mingle.sport and open your team.
Open the Attendance section.
Switch between the Match and Training tabs at the top of the page (Match is selected by default).
Use the toggle in the top-right to switch between Finished and Upcoming sessions.
How is match attendance calculated for my team's stats?
A player counts as attending a match when they appear under Players on the match's Overview tab — that list feeds your team's attendance stats and leaderboards. Two things put a player on the list automatically:
A Going RSVP.
Being added to the line-up (starting eleven or substitutes).
If someone played without RSVPing and without being in the line-up, add them manually via Edit Attendance (see below).
The attendance rate is calculated invited-only:
Attending Invited Players ÷ Total Invited Players = Attendance Rate
Team members who weren't invited don't affect the rate — so if you use custom invites for a smaller squad, the attendance rate reflects only that squad.
How do I remind team members who haven't RSVPed?
Automatic reminders
Mingle Sport sends reminders automatically to anyone who hasn't responded:
Matches — 3 days before the match.
Training — 24 hours before the training.
You can change these reminder times in Team Settings. Each team member only gets one automatic reminder per event.
Send a manual reminder
Need to nudge someone before the automatic reminder goes out? You can send a manual one (one per person):
Open the match or training info page and select Players or Staff and support.
You'll see who's responded, plus a list of those who haven't.
The top of the list shows when the next automatic reminder is due.
Tap the three dots next to a person and select Notify.
To nudge everyone outstanding at once, tap Notify All.
Team members receive a message: *"[Sender] wants you to RSVP to [Event]"*.

Can I edit the attendance list after team members have RSVPed?
Yes — team managers and coaches often need to correct the list.
