How do I edit a match or training?
You can edit a scheduled match, training or team event in the Mingle Sport app or on Homebase (web). Editing opens the same form you used to create it, pre-filled with the current details.
ℹ️ Available for Team Admins and team members with Scheduling rights. If you don't have these rights, the edit option isn't shown.
Go to the Schedule tab and open the event you want to change.
Tap the edit action at the top of the event page.
For a recurring training or team event, choose whether you want to edit this occurrence or the whole series.
Update the fields you want to change and tap Save.
If you close the form with unsaved changes, you're asked whether you want to discard them.
What can I change on a match vs a training?
For a match, you can edit:
Match (start) time
Arrival time
Home or away
You can't change the day of an existing match through editing. To move a match to a different day, delete it and create a new match on the correct date.
For a training, you can edit everything you set when creating it:
Title and description
Start date and time, and the Meet up (arrival) time
Duration
Location, Pitch and Dressing room
Who's invited, the RSVP reminder, and Auto RSVP
When you edit the whole series of a recurring training, you can also change the repeat pattern and the Stop repeating date. When you edit a single occurrence, those two options are hidden — they belong to the series, not to one session.
Team events work the same way as trainings, minus the pitch and dressing room.
If I edit a recurring training, does it affect the whole series?
Only if you choose to. When you tap the edit action on a recurring training, you pick this occurrence or the whole series first:
This occurrence — changes apply to that one session only. Use this to move a single practice or change its pitch.
The whole series — changes apply to this and all future sessions in the series. Use this when the weekly slot, duration or location changes for good.
RSVPs that team members have already given are kept when you edit — a player who said Going stays Going.
Why don't I see the edit option on a match or training?
The edit action is only shown to Team Admins and team members with Scheduling rights. If you can see the event but not the edit action, your role doesn't include these rights — ask a team admin to update your permissions or to make the change for you.
