How do I create a match?
You can create a match in the Mingle Sport app or on Homebase — our web environment. Once the match is created, your team members get a notification, can RSVP, and a line-up can be set up. You can also add match content (photos, match feed updates) to it.
ℹ️ Only team members with Scheduling rights can create a match.
In the Mingle Sport app
Go to the Schedule tab.
Tap the blue floating (+) button and choose Create match. If you're part of multiple teams, pick the team first.
Select Home or Away.
Add your opponent. If your opponent isn't listed, you can create it on the fly (see below).
Choose the match day, starting time, arrival time, and arrival location (e.g. your home club).
Tap Create match.

On Homebase (web)
Sign in to homebase.mingle.sport and open your team.
Go to the Schedule section.
Click Create match.
Select Home or Away and add your opponent.
Fill in the match day, starting time, arrival time, and arrival location.
Click Create match.
Team members will receive a notification that a new match is scheduled.
Can I create a match if my opponent isn't listed?
Yes. When you add the opponent during match creation, you can create a new opponent yourself by adding a name (and optionally a logo) — no need to wait for support.
For a deeper walkthrough of adding, editing, and removing opponents, see How do I manage opponents?.
Who in the team is allowed to create matches?
Anyone with Scheduling rights can create a match.
On a free team (Level 0), only the Team Admin (the person who created the team) has Scheduling rights — other members start with Content rights only.
On a boosted team (Level 1 or higher), Team Admins can grant Scheduling rights to individual members via the permission settings.
See How do I set permissions for my team members? for how to adjust rights per member.
Where can I find the match after I create it?
The match appears on the Schedule tab in chronological order. If it starts within the next 7 days, it also shows up on the Activity tab so your team sees it right away.
