How do I connect my league calendar to Mingle Sport?

How do I connect my league calendar to Mingle Sport?
If your league publishes a calendar link for your team, you can connect it to Mingle Sport instead of adding every match by hand. Mingle Sport reads the fixtures from that link, creates the matches on your schedule, and keeps checking the link afterwards — so when the league moves a kick-off or reschedules a game, your schedule follows automatically.
ℹ️ You connect a league calendar on Homebase, our web environment. The synced matches and their updates then show up in the app for everyone on the team. Connecting requires Scheduling rights.

To connect your league calendar:
Sign in to homebase.mingle.sport and open your team.
Go to the Schedule section.
Click Create and choose Import schedule.
Paste your league calendar link, or pick your provider from the shortlist.
Confirm that the team Mingle Sport found in the calendar is yours.
Check the opponents, and answer any row marked check.
Set the arrival time to apply to the imported matches.
Review the matches and confirm with Add matches & keep them in sync.
You can also start from Team Settings, which is where your calendar sits once it's connected and where you manage or disconnect it later.
Your matches appear on the Schedule right away, and your team is notified the same way they are for a match you add by hand.

Where do I find my league calendar link?
The calendar link comes from your league or federation, not from Mingle Sport. Most competition platforms publish one per team: open your team's fixture page and look for Calendar, Subscribe, iCal or Add to calendar, then copy the link rather than opening it.
Mingle Sport offers a shortlist of the providers we see most often:
FA Full-Time (UK)
LeagueRepublic
mygameday (Australia)
Sportlink / KNVB (Netherlands)
Other providers work too, as long as the link is a real calendar feed and not a web page or a PDF of the fixture list. A calendar link often contains a personal token, so treat it like a password and only share it with people who manage your team.

If your league uses Voetbal.nl
In the Netherlands the team calendar is a paid add-on from Voetbal.nl — that charge comes from them, not from Mingle Sport. Buy the calendar for the season in the Voetbal.nl app, and the link is emailed to you.
That email gives you two links: one for Apple Calendar starting with `webcal://`, and one for Outlook and Google Calendar starting with `https://`. Copy the https one — that's the link Mingle Sport needs. Copy it rather than clicking it: as the email itself warns, clicking imports your fixtures once and later changes never come through.
What happens during setup?
Setup asks you to confirm a few things before anything is added to your schedule, so a wrong link can never quietly fill your season with the wrong fixtures.
Your team. Mingle Sport reads the fixtures in the calendar and works out which team appears in nearly all of them — that one is yours — then asks you to confirm it got the right one. Confirming also settles which matches are home and which are away, because that follows from the order the teams are listed in. If the calendar holds only one or two matches there isn't enough to tell the two teams apart, so you pick your team from a short list instead, with the most likely one already selected. If the team shown isn't yours, you've probably got the wrong link — a different team at the same club, for example. Stop there and fetch the right one.
The opponents. Every opponent name in the calendar is matched against the clubs and opponents your team already has. Each row shows the name as it appears in your calendar, the club and team it will become, and one of three statuses:
| Status | What it means | What you do |
|---|---|---|
existing | Linked to an opponent your team already has | Nothing |
check | A likely match, but not certain enough to decide for you | Pick the right one and click Confirm |
new | No existing opponent fits, so one is created from the calendar name | Check the club and team read correctly |
A line above the table keeps count, for example "13 opponents: 6 linked to existing, 5 new, 2 to check". Accept all suggestions confirms the suggested opponent on every check row in one go. You can't move on while a check row is unanswered — the button at the bottom tells you how many are left.
Your arrival time. League calendars carry kick-off times but no arrival times, so Mingle Sport asks for one and applies it to every match in the import. It starts at 60 minutes before kick-off, and you can set anything from 0 to 240 minutes. You can still change the arrival time on an individual match afterwards.
The matches. The last step lists the matches that will be added, soonest first, and tells you how many are new and how many are already in your schedule. Nothing is created until you confirm. Matches you already added by hand aren't duplicated — the calendar links to the match that's already there and fills in what's missing.

Why can't I connect my league calendar?
A few things stop a calendar from connecting:
The calendar has no upcoming matches. You need at least one future match to connect. Leagues often publish their fixtures late, or clear them between seasons, so if the calendar is empty, try again once your league has published the new schedule.
The link isn't a calendar feed. A link to a fixtures web page or a downloaded PDF won't work — it has to be the calendar or subscribe link.
The link is for another team. If the team check shows a team you don't recognise, go back to your league's site and copy the link from your own team's page.
The calendar can't be reached. Links expire or move, and providers occasionally have an outage. Fetch a fresh link from your provider and try again.
Only future matches are imported — fixtures that have already been played stay out. If you want past results in Mingle Sport too, use the file import instead: How do I import my match schedule from a file?
Can I still edit a match that came from my league calendar?
Mostly, yes — but the details the league owns are locked, so a sync can't fight with your edits.
Locked on a synced match: the date and time, and whether it's home or away. You also can't delete or cancel a synced match yourself. If the league cancels it, it's marked as cancelled on the next sync.
Still yours to edit: everything else — line-up, RSVPs, cover photo, match content, the location and the arrival time.
Two things are worth knowing:
Location comes from the calendar when the league publishes one, and it overwrites what's there. You can still change it, but the next sync will overwrite your value again. When the league publishes no location, the one you set stays put.
Arrival time is the value you chose during setup. It's applied to every match in the import, and later syncs use the same value for new matches without touching matches that are already in your schedule.
If the opponent on a synced match is wrong, team admins can correct it from the match itself. The correction applies to every match that came in under that same name in the calendar, and Mingle Sport remembers it for future syncs — so you only fix it once. For managing opponents in general, see How do I manage opponents?
How do I disconnect my league calendar?
Open Team Settings on Homebase and find the calendar sync card. It shows that the calendar is connected, when it last synced and what changed recently, and it's also where you can sync straight away or disconnect.
Choose Disconnect and nothing is deleted. All the matches stay on your schedule — they just stop being linked to the league calendar, so they no longer update, and every field becomes editable again, including the date, time and home or away. If you reconnect the same link later, those matches are picked back up rather than added a second time.
