Help Article Visual - Add cards in match control

On Homebase (desktop), open the match, click Edit match facts in the top-right, and add the card.

Delete a yellow or red card

In the Mingle Sport app, in Match Control open the Events tab, select the card, and tap the delete icon in the top-right corner.

On Homebase (desktop), open the match, click Edit match facts in the top-right, and remove the card.

Do I need the Match Timer running to add a yellow or red card?

No. You can add cards with or without the Match Timer running — useful if you're doing scorekeeping after the final whistle. Cards added in Match Control automatically appear on the Match Feed for followers.

What happens when a player gets a second yellow or a red card?

When a player picks up a second yellow or a red card:

  • Their minutes played stop counting at the match minute of the card.

  • They're removed from the line-up on the Overview tab.

  • The card shows on their player row so the match record is clear about why they're off.

If I delete a card, does the player come back onto the line-up?

Yes. If a second yellow or red card had removed a player from the line-up, deleting that card restores the player and resumes their minutes-played counter. Useful if you added the wrong card or picked the wrong player by mistake.

Where do I see which players picked up the most cards this season?

Open your team and go to the Leaderboards — there's a dedicated yellow and red cards leaderboard showing who's picked up the most bookings across the season. A quick way to see who might be one card away from a suspension.
