How do I add a location to a match or training?
When you create a match, training, or team event in the Mingle Sport app, you can set the location — either by searching for a place or entering an address by hand.
ℹ️ Available for team members with Scheduling rights.
Go to the Schedule tab and tap the blue floating (+) button.
Choose Create match, Create training, or Create team event.
Fill in the event details (title, date, start time, duration).
In the Location field:
Tap the search field.
Search for your location.
Select it from the results.
If your location isn't found, enter the address by hand.
*Optional:* tick Save default location for \<team name\> so future events of this team pre-fill with the same location.
Save the event.
ℹ️ If your team is linked to a club, the Location field is pre-filled with the club's address by default — so you don't need to set it manually for home events.

How do I save a default location for my team?
When you set a location while creating an event, tick the Save default location for \<team name\> checkbox. From then on, every new match, training, or team event for that team is pre-filled with that location — you can still override it per event.
What if my location isn't in the search results?
You can add the address by hand. In the Location field, type the full address directly instead of selecting from search — this works for pitches, fields, sports halls, or any venue that isn't indexed.
Can I change the location of a match or training after creating it?
Yes. Edit the event and update the Location field — the same search and manual-entry options apply. For a recurring training series, you can choose whether the location change applies to a single event or the whole series.
