Can I choose the type of a match?
Yes. When you create a match in Mingle Sport, you can set its type — league, playoff, cup, pre-season, or friendly. This helps you plan a full season and keep friendly matches separate from competitive ones.
ℹ️ Available for team members with Scheduling rights.
Pick the match type from the selector during the match creation flow. If you don't pick one, the match defaults to the team's standard setting.
Can I change the match type after I've created the match?
Yes. You can update a match's type at any time:
Open the match.
Go to the Info tab.
Tap the pencil icon to edit.
Change the match type and save.
Can I filter match stats by match type?
Yes. On Homebase, you can filter your match statistics by match type. That way you can analyse your league performance separately from cup, playoff, pre-season, or friendly games — useful for tracking competitive form without friendlies skewing the numbers.
