Visual Designer
Mingle Sport is an app for grassroots football teams that want to get more out of their game. Track more stats and share better match content. We’re a startup based out of Utrecht, the Netherlands. In the first 12 months of our launch we already got over 170.000 players, coaches and fans in from all over the world. We’re just getting started and are working on very exciting innovations to democratise sportstech for everyone.
Your role
As (medior) Visual Designer you will work on the UI of our mobile and web apps. Next to that, you also will be responsible for marketing content like the website, ads and social content. You understand mobile UX and love to transform this data into pixel perfect visual design. You don’t think in static screens, but in elegant flows and motion. In your day to day you will work.closely with our UX lead, developers and marketing colleagues. Our team has 12 people.
If you're passionate about creating meaningful experiences and eager to make your mark in the world of sports apps we want to hear from you!
In summary, you:
UX/UI design new features for our app
UX/UI Homebase web app
Visual design marketing assets
Further improve our design system
Build prototypes for user research;
Come up with visual and motion concepts.
What does your workweek look like?
Being a startup you will have a diverse set of things to do during a typical week. You work on concepts for new features. As we have many users details matter a lot. You talk to users and understand IOS and Android design patterns. In that same week you are working with the marketing people on a bunch of visual assets for a new video for the upcoming release. Extra bonus points if you understand motion design! Finally, you are discussing with the mobile developers how to improve some of the existing screens in terms of UI/UX. We work hybrid. 2 days at the office, rest from home.
What do we expect from you?
At Mingle we expect you to become the best version of yourself and help our team become the best team in the world of sports tech. That sounds quite ambitious and we are, but we also believe this can only be achieved in a good work, life, sports balance.
