Who can see the match report?

Who can see the match report?

Inside the Mingle Sport app, the match report is visible to everyone on the team and to their followers. The level of detail depends on your relationship to the team:

  • Team members see the full match report, including all media, commentary, and content cards.

  • Followers see the match report and can comment and cheer on individual content cards.

People outside your team and your follower list can only see a match report if someone shares the public web URL — and even then, what's shown depends on your team's visibility setting (see below).

Who can add or edit content on the match report?

Different team roles have different permissions on match content:

RoleWhat they can do

Content rights

Add photos and videos to the match report

Match Reporter (Scorekeeping + Content rights)

Add and edit commentary, manage tags, connect or disconnect media to events, and remove content cards

Admin

Remove any content card and limit content visibility (see below)

Followers

View, comment on, and cheer on content cards

A *content card* is a single moment on the match report — a goal, a substitution, a photo, a video, or a written comment.

Can admins limit what's shown on a match report?

Yes. Admins can remove any content card from a match report, and they can also limit a card's visibility to Admin Only — hiding it from team members and followers. This is useful when content needs review before it's shared more widely.

Can people outside my team see our match reports?

Match reports can be shared on the public web via a match URL. What people see when they open that URL depends on your team's visibility setting:

  • Visible team: the public match report shows the score, content cards, and any media.

  • Private team: the public match report shows the score only — no media, no player names, no commentary.

Followers inside the app always see the in-app match report regardless of public web visibility. For details on changing your team's visibility, see How do I set my team's visibility?.
