How do I set up a training plan?
A training plan is a short summary — up to 500 characters — that you add to a scheduled training session so the whole team knows what's planned before they show up. You can add one to any training in the Mingle Sport app.

Open the scheduled training. You can find it on your Home screen or in your Schedule.
Scroll down to the Training plan section.
Tap + Create plan.
Type the plan (up to 500 characters).
Optionally pick a theme for the session.
Save.
The plan appears on the training session as soon as you save it, and every team member can see it on the session's detail page.
ℹ️ Training plans are only available in the Mingle Sport app — they can't be added or edited from Homebase.
Can I edit a training plan after I've saved it?
Yes. Open the training session again, scroll to the Training plan section, and update or remove the plan from there. Any changes you save are visible to the whole team straight away.
Who can see a training plan?
Everyone on the team — players, staff, and team support — can see the training plan once it's saved. It surfaces on the training session's detail page alongside the date, time, location, and RSVP info, so the whole team can prepare.
If you want a note that's only visible to team admins instead, use staff notes — or add both on the same training (see below).
What's the difference between a training plan and staff notes?
A training plan is visible to the whole team, so everyone knows what's planned for the session. Staff notes are short notes only team admins can read — handy for behind-the-scenes coordination like injuries, follow-ups, or parent context that you don't want the whole team to see.
You can add both on the same training session if you want — the training plan goes out to everyone, the staff note stays internal. Tap + Add staff notes on the training session to add one.
