How do I set my team's colours and jersey?
Your team has a primary and a secondary colour. Together they colour your team page, your players' profiles, and the jersey your team wears on the line-up — so the app looks like your team instead of a default one. The jersey is generated from those two colours automatically, so setting your colours is the first step for both.
You'll find both in two places:
During Team Setup, the guided flow offered right after you create a team. The colour step shows a live preview of your team card as you choose.
Any time afterwards, in Team Settings → Appearance.
To set your colours:
Open Team Settings → Appearance, or reach the same sheet during Team Setup.
Tap your primary colour and pick one of the preset swatches, or open the advanced picker to choose any shade you like.
Do the same for your secondary colour.
Continue to save your changes.

Do I have to pick team colours?
No. Every team starts with a default colour pair, and you can continue through the setup step without changing anything. You can always come back to it later — nothing else depends on having picked your own colours first.
Can I change my team colours after setting them?
Yes, as often as you like. Open Team Settings → Appearance and pick new colours. The change applies everywhere immediately — the team page, player profiles, and the jersey all update for everyone in the team.
Changing your colours doesn't affect any match data, stats, or line-ups you've already created.
How do I customise my team jersey?
Every Mingle Sport team has a jersey built from its two team colours. It's created automatically as soon as your colours are set, so you never start with a blank kit.
To change it:
Open Team Settings → Appearance, or reach the same sheet during Team Setup.
Tap the jersey to open the jersey sheet.
Pick a pattern — solid, stripes, and several other options.
Swap the colours if you'd rather lead with your secondary colour.
Set the number colour so shirt numbers stay readable against the pattern.
Save your changes.
The jersey is a team-level setting, so it applies to every match. There's no per-match jersey.
Is the team jersey a premium feature?
Partly. Every team — free or boosted — gets a solid jersey in its team colours at no cost. Choosing a different pattern is a premium feature that comes with a Team Boost. → What is a Team Boost?
You can still open the jersey sheet and try patterns on a free team. If you pick one, it's saved as a pending choice rather than applied — and it switches on automatically the moment your team is boosted.
Can I show player numbers on the jersey?
Yes. When shirt numbers are shown, each player's number appears on their jersey, using the number colour you set in the jersey sheet. Pick a colour with enough contrast against your pattern — a dark number on a dark shirt is hard to read at line-up size.
Player numbers come from each player profile, so a player without a number set simply shows a plain jersey. → How do I edit a player profile?
Why is my team wearing a green jersey?
The green shirt is the old Mingle Sport default, used before teams had their own colours. It's replaced by your team jersey as soon as your team colours are set.
If you still see it, open Team Settings → Appearance and set your team colours — the jersey is generated from them.
Where do my team colours and jersey show up in the app?
Your colours and jersey are used across the app, not just in settings:
