How do I message people across my club?

How do I message people across my club?

If your club has more than one team, you can message people on other teams using Club Contacts. Normally Mingle Sport chat is limited to your own team — Club Contacts lets admins find and message anyone across the whole club, straight from the Create new Chat flow.

Club Contacts is available in Club Manager on Homebase (club.mingle.sport). Support on the mobile app is coming later.

To message people across your club:

  1. Sign in to club.mingle.sport and go to CommunicationChat.

  2. Click Create new Chat.

  3. Browse contacts, or search by name to find a specific person. You can also filter by role.

  4. Select the people you want — pick one person for a direct message, or several for a group chat.

  5. Click Next to create the chat.

What is Club Contacts?

Club Contacts is the part of the Create new Chat flow that shows people from across your whole club, not just your own team. It groups the club's members so admins can reach the right people without knowing which team they're on or switching to WhatsApp or email.

Depending on the platform, you can browse contacts by member, by team, or by role, and search by name. A club must have Club Contacts switched on for it to appear.

Who can use Club Contacts?

Who can see and message club contacts depends on your role:

RoleWhat they can see

Club owner / club admin

Everyone in the club — staff, parents, and players, across all teams

Team admin (on any team)

Their own team, plus staff from other teams — not players or parents from other teams

Players, parents, non-admin staff

Don't see Club Contacts — only their own team's contacts (unchanged)

This keeps players' and parents' details private from admins of other teams.

How do I turn on Club Contacts for my club?

Club Contacts is off by default. Only a club owner can switch it on, in Club Manager.

  1. Sign in to club.mingle.sport.

  2. Open Chat Settings.

  3. Turn Club Contacts on.

Once it's on, club and team admins across the club can use it. Turning it off hides Club Contacts for everyone in the club again.

Why don't I see Club Contacts?

If you can't find Club Contacts when creating a chat, one of these is usually the reason:

  • It's not switched on — your club owner needs to enable it in Club Manager → Chat Settings.

  • You're not an admin — only club admins and team admins can use it.

  • Your club has only one team — there are no other teams to show contacts from.

  • You're on the mobile app — Club Contacts is currently available in Club Manager on the web only.

If none of these apply and you still can't see it, contact us via the in-app chat or at [email protected].
