How do I leave a team?
You can leave your team yourself from the Mingle Sport app — or another team member can remove you.
Open the Team section in the app.
Tap the Members tab.
Find your own name in the list.
Tap the more button (three dots) next to your name.
Select Leave team.
Once you leave, you won't see that team's matches, chats, or stats in the app anymore.
What if I leave my team by mistake?
No problem — leaving a team isn't permanent. If you still have the team's invite link or 4-digit team code, just rejoin with it. If you don't have the invite on hand, ask a team admin or another team member to share it with you. See How do I invite new members to my team? for where to find the invite.
Can I delete a team I no longer use?
Yes. Team admins can delete a team from Homebase:
Sign in to homebase.mingle.sport and open the team.
Go to Team settings > General.
Select Delete team.
Confirm in the warning dialog.
⚠️ Deleting a team is permanent and cannot be undone. All team data is lost and every team profile in the team — players, staff, and team support — is deleted. If you want to keep the team's data and player profiles, archive the team instead (see below).
Should I archive or delete an old team?
It depends on whether you want to keep the team's history:
Archive the team if you want to preserve match history, stats, chats, and every team profile and player profile — for example, at the end of a season when you're creating a new team for next year. Archived teams stay visible in the app but are excluded from new event creation. See Can I start a new season for my team?.
Delete the team if the team was created by mistake or has no data worth keeping. Deletion is permanent — all team profiles and data are wiped and cannot be recovered.
