How do I invite new members to my team?
Once your team is created in Mingle Sport, you can invite new members to join. Everyone joins using the same team invite. A team member can be a player, staff (coach, trainer, or team manager), or team support (parent, guardian, or friend).
How do I share the team invite?
You can share the invite in three formats, whichever is easiest for the person joining:
An invite link — send it by chat, email, or messaging app. Tapping the link opens Mingle Sport and takes the person straight to the team.
A QR code — show it on your phone screen for someone to scan with their camera.
A 4-digit team code — the person enters it in the app after signing up for a Mingle Sport account.
Where do I find the invite in the app?
You can find the team invite in two places in the Mingle Sport app:
Under Activity (the home-icon in your navigation) — tap the blue floating button at the bottom right of the screen.
Under Profile (the profile-icon in your navigation) — the team invite is on your profile page.
What types of members can I invite to my team?
A Mingle Sport team can include:
Players — active members in the line-up, each with a player profile that holds stats, positions, and match history.
Staff — coaches, trainers, and team managers running the team day-to-day.
Team support — parents, guardians, or friends who follow along and cheer for the team.
Everyone joins with the same invite and picks their role during the join flow. Parents connecting to a child's player profile pick the parent role — see Managing parent-child relationships.
