How do I follow people and teams?
You can follow anyone with a Mingle Sport account — teammates, players from your club, family members, or friends. Following someone connects your account to theirs so you can see their match activity in your Activity Feed.
To follow someone:
Open the Activity Feed in the Mingle Sport app.
Use the search bar at the top to find a person, or tap the Following tab and tap Start following for suggestions.
Type at least the first three letters of the person's name.
Tap Follow on the person you want to follow.
The person needs to accept your follow request. Once accepted, their matches and profile appear in your Activity Feed.
How does following someone work?
Following connects your account to another user's so you can see their match activity and profile in your Activity Feed. Anyone with a Mingle Sport account can follow or be followed — not just teammates.
A follow request needs to be accepted before activity is shared. You can also unfollow at any time.
Can I follow a whole team?
Following a team as a unit isn't available yet. To stay up to date with a team's activity, follow individual team members. You can follow as many members of the same team as you like.
On a team page you'll see the total number of followers — the count of unique followers across the team. The team followers page also shows the relationship each follower has with the team (e.g. "Follows Matthew"). Team admins can manage team followers, and followers can be reported if needed.
Why do I see matches from other teams in my feed?
Your Activity Feed shows matches from anyone you follow. If you follow a team member who also plays for another team — or who has moved to a different team — you'll see that team's matches in your feed too. The same applies to club members and fans you follow.
How can I follow without playing on a team?
Want to follow your child, grandchild, partner, or a friend without joining a team yourself? You can sign up as a fan:

Sign up as a fan — you don't need a team code.
Follow the steps above to follow the people you want.
When a match they're in starts, it appears in your Activity Feed. Turn on push notifications to make sure you don't miss anything, and feel free to support them by commenting on the Liveblog.

Tap Followers.
Accept or decline incoming follow requests.
