Help us turn football teams into paying clubs. You'll own the commercial side of Mingle Sport: converting inbound interest, upgrading our most engaged users into customers, and building the playbook that takes us from product-led growth to a real B2B revenue engine.

About Mingle Sport

We're building the Strava for football. Around 300K players, coaches, and parents already use Mingle to follow their team, share match moments, and stay connected to the game. We're a small, product-led team — mostly engineers — and we've just opened a new chapter: selling Mingle to football clubs across the Netherlands, Belgium, the UK, and Australia.

Why this role exists

Our club pipeline is 85%+ inbound today. Clubs find us, sign up, and want more. Our user base includes thousands of engaged coaches and team admins who are one good conversation away from becoming paying customers. Right now, our founder is the only person responding to that demand. We need you to take it from there — and to start building the outbound motion that takes us beyond the clubs who already know us.

This is the first dedicated commercial hire at Mingle. You'll work directly with the founder, learn on the job, and shape how we sell.

What you'll do

Your #1 priority is simple: paying clubs signed. Everything below feeds that number.

  • Convert inbound to paying clubs. Respond to every inbound club inquiry, qualify, demo, close.

  • Build outbound pipeline. Identify target clubs in the Netherlands, Belgium, the UK, and Australia. Run thoughtful, research-backed outreach. Open conversations from scratch — no spray-and-pray, no boiler-room.

  • Turn support into pipeline. Roughly half our support tickets are users asking for more. You'll spot those signals and run with them.

  • Hunt within the ambassador base. Thousands of engaged coaches and team admins use Mingle every week — many of them decision-makers at their clubs. Design and run the program that turns them into paying customers. This is hunting on warm ground, and it's one of your biggest levers.

  • Onboard and retain. Get new clubs live, happy, and expanding. Keep them.

  • Feed product. Run customer interviews and bring the voice of the customer back to the team.

  • Support our growth motion. Help with events, content, and experiments where it moves your number. Extra kudos if writing comes naturally.

You're a fit if

  • You have 2–4 years of experience in sales, customer success, or a commercial role, and you want to grow into a full-cycle commercial owner.

  • You're a hunter at heart. Inbound will fill most of your day, but you go after the deals that don't come to you — through outbound, through ambassadors, through every angle you can find.

  • You're hungry, coachable, and energized by talking to customers all day.

  • You're comfortable with ambiguity. There's no playbook yet, you'll help write it.

  • You communicate clearly in English (native or fully fluent). Dutch is a strong plus.

  • Football matters to you, or you're genuinely curious about the world we're building in.

Your first 90 days

By the end of month 3 we'd expect you to:

  • Own the inbound club pipeline end-to-end — qualify, demo, and close without the founder in the room

  • Have 4-6 paying clubs signed independently

  • Have a v0.1 of the ambassador program drafted and the first ambassadors onboarded

  • Have a first outbound campaign running — target list, messaging, and sequence in place

  • Have a clear support-to-conversion workflow so every "I want more" ticket becomes a real conversation
