## Getting Started

### Creating a Team

Setting up your football team in Mingle Sport is easy:

1. Download the app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)
2. Create your team during signup or via the Teams tab → "Create Team"
3. In some countries, select your official league and club to get logos and leaderboards
4. Add your team logo if needed
5. Invite team members by sharing the 4-character Join Code

A team consists of 3 types of members:
- **Players**: Can be selected for lineups, vote on Player of the Match
- **Trainers/Coaches**: Can manage team, create lineups, do scorekeeping
- **Team Support**: Parents and guardians who can RSVP and follow matches

### Inviting Team Members

Team members need the Join Code to join. Share it via:
- The Invite button in the team tab
- Homebase web app under 'Manage Team'

You can also add "unclaimed" players by entering their names. These players can be added to lineups and stats. When they download the app, they can claim their profile.

### Followers

Friends and family can follow team members to receive match updates:
- Followers need to send a follow request (privacy-first approach)
- Followers can see match scores and content
- They receive live push notifications during matches
- They cannot RSVP or see training practices

**Customization Options**:
- Choose which team roles to invite for RSVP
- Set reminder timing for matches and training
- Enable parent reminders if children haven't responded
- Turn on auto-RSVP (players default to "going")

- Edit attendance when RSVPs aren't accurate
- View attendance tables in Homebase

### Creating Lineups

Create professional lineups for your matches:

1. Go to the lineup tab for a scheduled match
2. Choose team size (5, 6, 7, 8, 9, or 11 players)
3. Select a formation (4-4-2, 3-5-2, 4-3-3, etc.)
4. Add players to positions
5. Drag and drop to customize positions
6. Save and optionally share with the team

**Features**:
- Reuse previous lineups as templates
- Hide lineup from players until match time (premium)
- Share lineup cards on Instagram, WhatsApp, or X
- Download lineup images
- Supports football and futsal

### Match Timer & Substitutions

Track minutes played accurately:

1. Confirm starting lineup before starting timer
2. Start the match timer
3. Timer auto-stops at half-time (based on match settings)
4. Add substitutions during the match
5. Minutes played automatically calculated

**Substitution Process**:
- Select player to come off
- Select player from bench to come on
- Minutes paused for outgoing player
- Minutes started for incoming player
- Substitution icon shows on lineup

**After Match**:
- View minutes played per player
- See substitution history
- Track trends across the season
